- The Story -

I've always wanted to own a historical mansion, but I never thought doing so would lead to writing a book about it!

When I finally became the owner of one I was looking forward to taking on the project of restoring it's natural beauty, and doing the job myself. I knew it was going to be a tremendous undertaking, but I was in no hurry and I had the time to do it. At least I thought I did until I stumbled upon some old pictures that had been stashed away in one of the walls.

Normally I would just set aside something like that, but for some strange reason I couldn't. I felt compelled for some reason to learn more about these pictures.

After ten years covering thousands miles and consuming countless hours in following the story. I felt equally compelled to share what I learned and what I experenced along the way. To tell the story of people I never met, but now I know.

The story is not finished for more questions remain to be answered, but before I journey off on another mysterious path I must first finish this mansion. At least now I can.
