As you read this, think. . . do you know
someone in need?
This is the question Do-All asks. There
are many people in Bay County who do not have decent clothes to wear, a
bed to sleep in, a sofa that is unbroken, a table to sit and serve
their family dinner, or
a stove to cook that dinner on... So many basics that most of us take for granted.
Since Created for Caring closed,
and with other agencies having less resources in these difficult
economic times, Do-All, Inc. is helping to fill the void left in our
community for those in need by
providing material assistance
formerly offered through other agencies in Bay County for low-income
families and individuals.
Do-All's Material Assistance Center is working with
our community partners, and you - our community - to meet
this need. The center assists with providing clothing,
furniture, appliances, household goods, and other qualifying items
to individuals and families in Bay County.
A simple referral from any
helping agency in Bay County is all
it takes to help people living right here in our community - our neighbors,
friends, and families - perhaps someone that you know.
Donations of clothing,
furniture, household goods, and appliances are accepted.
Monetary donations go directly to support the assistance services. Your
donations help those who need it most.
The Material Assistance Center provides the
following items of need through the voucher and referral program:
Do-All welcomes volunteers and offers many
volunteer opportunities through the Material Assistance Center, The Cat's Meow
Thrift Store, and its vocational
training center on Lincoln Avenue in Bay City.
